Four free hard courts on the Lower East Side, opened October 2022. Located at Pier 42 on the East River between the Williamsburg and Manhattan Bridges. Surface has some rough patches and plays on the slower side. New restrooms and park entrance opened July 2024 with a working water station. First-come first-served when busy -- add your racket to the fence line. Singles 1 hour, doubles up to 2 hours. Limited public transit access (long walk from nearest train), but easily accessible by bike. Great East River and Brooklyn views. Open year-round, 7am-6pm/8pm seasonally.
