One of the best public clay court experiences in the city. Ten red clay courts along the Hudson River, operated by the Riverside Tennis Association (RCTA). Accessible via Riverside Park near 96th St. Permits required. Water provided by RCTA during play hours, and fountains are available outside the courts. Portable restrooms nearby up the hill by the parking lot steps. Free parking via the Henry Hudson Parkway. Call the RCTA hotline (212) 978-0277 for daily conditions -- courts close during rain.
